Yes, you can purchase and store books with the iPad using Apple’s store, or you can install the Kindle app and do the same from Amazon’s store. It’s like a Kindle that can also do way more.

Anonymous Browser for iPad – Is it possible to convert Safari on iPad into an anonymous browser?

Question by Ray R: Anonymous Browser for iPad – Is it possible to convert Safari on iPad into an anonymous browser?
The reason I require this is for online security and protection against malicious IP tracking, hacking & breach attempts that have happened in the past on the iPad. I know that my company uses a software to encrypt their network, but the name eludes me.

Answer by Adrian Johnson
No, the default Safari browser on your iPad can’t be turned into a truly anonymous browser. For that, you will need an alternative like Photon Flash Web Browser that has the anonymous browsing feature.

Another option if you want to retain the Safari browser and still have anonymity is to use an iPad VPN like Hidepad:

It encrypts your internet connection, secures your IP address and also helps you bypass restrictive firewalls. It supports anonymous browsing on your iPad without the need to change your default tablet browser.
