Question by : What are some laptops under (or equal to) the price but better than the iPad 2?
I can already think of much more benefits to a laptop than an iPad, and looking on newegg.com, I can see that there are TONS of laptops at a price below $ 500 that runs alright. But I can’t seem to find a model that is satisfactory to 9 out of 10 customers (based on reviews). Any specific model suggestions? Personal experience stories welcome.
Answer by Bob i think the iPad 2 is great and i would like to own one but i am with you. to play or get work done a laptop will do so much more. look at some high end refurbished laptops.

Question by Jeff: Why is the predicted daily high usually 2 degrees higher than any of the hourly numbers on weather.com?
I get why they make be off on actual numbers for the day or you may be in a slightly cooler local area, but for example in Houston and Austin, on most days this summer the peak predicted high for the day is usually short by 2 degrees of the highest prediction for any hour or even any 15 minute breakdown (viewable on their ipad app) Since they are making up their own predictions for the high and the hourly breakdowns shouldn’t these guesses be consistent with each other?
Answer by Todd No. Weather.com’s forecast for any given area is computer generated, with absolutely no review by a meteorologist. The temperature is derived directly from the Global Forecasting System (GFS) model, taken from the Model Output Statistics (MOS). The problem with this is that models generally don’t do well with small scale, local features that can have an effect on the weather, such soil moisture content or Urban Heat Island effect.
Hour by hour forecasts are, at best, difficult, with often dubious results, even for seasoned meteorologists. Most don’t like to due them, and only put them out when ordered to do so by a boss- such as a news director.
Question by Robert: ipad mini , is it worth the extra 100 to get an 32 gb than a 16 gb?
im getting an ipad mini in a few weeks and i wanted to know in your opinion should i purchase then 16gb for 329 or pay 429 [100+] to get the 32 gb . is it worth the money ?
Answer by Jim hmm. that’s a personal planning question really. not sure if I can answer that question for you. you need to ask yourself what you think you are going to do with it in the future. try to start out by maybe buying a book that catalogs ipad applications. pick some out that you think are cool. (these are essentially already reviewed for you,so that’s nice)
If you plan on doing a lot of writing, get a laptop. tablets are not designed for typing!
the size of disk could also depend on how many ebooks and applications you are going to download. videos, if downloaded, take up a LOT of space. not GB,but MB. and those add up fast. pictures (if it does that) can add up fast also.
by the way, ipads do not come with instructions.
google some articles on tablets vs laptops vs computers if this is the kind of decision you are making.

Question by Bubba Chili: What is a good tablet that is less than 0 and has about a 10 inch screen?
Ipads are way too spendy, so I was looking at PC/Android tablets. I want to spend less than $ 300 and have a screen that is 10 inches. If it was a 7 inches, I would buy a Nexus 7, but I want something bigger and can compare to a Ipad. Any suggestions?
Answer by Brian Kalaf There is not going to be much available in that price range in a 10″ tablet. Most 10″ tablets tart at around $ 300 and go up from there. However, Best Buy does have 1 tablet available that is quite low priced. It is a fairly new tablet and hasn’t been on the market long, so I don’t see many reviews around the internet on it. But what I have seen is primarily positive. Here is the info:
question of : Do you think that each tablet in the market right now is better than the iPad If you really pay attention to him. The iPad is nothing more than a big iPhone. Very boring and stupid in some ways. They could no longer boring with their interface? Why do not they come up with something more unique as Android, BlackBerry, or even the Kindle. Their only advantage is the high resolution retina display sein. Was you think Best Answer:
